Hooded cape with pockets and arm holes

Background

Frequently, I find myself wearing too heavy or not enough outerwear for the temperature outside. A poncho normally works, but in the winter my knit poncho is a bit thin. So, I will try a cape. You really can learn anything on the internet.

Design

Following the pattern and tutorial mentioned below. Fabric selection was from what I had on hand: a few meters of light wool and some light tartan canvas.

Implementation

Brilliant tutorial and pattern. The blogger offers a pay as you feel like for the pattern, so I highly recommend dropping a few monetary units that way.
